Our client is a world class leader in shipping container unloading and loading services. Established in 2002, ACUG has expanded its operations to service the transport and logistics industry Australia wide.
Bridge recruitment are currently seeking experienced forklift operators for on-going afternoon shift work in Redbank, West Brisbane. Work will be a majority of clamp forklift work and full training will be provided on how to operate this machinery. Candidates will be required to be experienced forklift operators with a proven track record of safety and operating ability.
These roles are not immediate starts so if you’re currently working as a forklift operator and not happy in your role we are happy to wait for notice periods.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
- Operating Clamp Forklift to unload 20ft and 40ft shipping containers
- Unloading electrical and white good products with clamp forklift
- Staging palletised goods in a warehouse environment
- Some manual work / shrink wrapping pallets
- Working to timeframes
To be successful you will possess:
- A current LF forklift licence
- Previous demonstrated experience in forklift operation
- Experience using Clamp forklift will be highly regarded
- Ability to learn how to operate clamp forklift if not experienced
- Ability to work afternoon shift Monday to Friday
- Great level of reliability and commitment to work
- A sense of urgency and piece work mentality
- Drivers licence and own transport

Work is paid PIECE RATE PER CONTAINER and gives the right people the opportunity to earn $35-$40/hour.
